Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Multiple Positions

We are looking to hire individuals with a bachelors degree in human services (social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, and
similar fields) and a minimum of 1 year experience either teaching, training, or providing ABA services to children and young adults. The selected candidates will provide in-home ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services to children with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities or other Developmental Disabilities. The Behavior Technician must be willing to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (am or pm hours). Supervision by a clinical supervisor (BCBA) is provided on weekly to bi-weekly basis. The candidate should be able to work with and train parents and/or caregivers and have strong behavior management skills. The selected individual must successfully complete the RBT 40 hour training course prior to beginning work with any children. A current CPR/First Aid Certificate is required prior to starting a case. Candidate should have a valid driver’s license and use of a reliable vehicle. A background check also will
be completed by the company. Candidates should have the ability to work independently, write daily notes, and maintain data of behaviors. Effective communication skills are required to be able to interact with supervisor, caregivers, and child.

Responsibilities for this position include
- Implementation of behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst
- Collection of data and completion of treatment notes as required

- Graduated with at least a Bachelors degree in psychology or related field
- Availability of 10-20 hours per week from 2pm-7pm
- Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance
- Able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull bend, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Energetic, outgoing, and have a passion for working with children
- Possess a current RBT® credential and be in good standing with the BACB® or;
- Willing to pursue the credential prior to working with children
- At least one (1) year experience working with children

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job Status: Full-Time Hours: M-Sat, Flexible Hours
Salary Grade: commensurate with experience. Eligible for bonus
- Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland) and functional assessment measures
- Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data
- Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives
- Teaches Program Coordinators and Behavioral Technicians on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems
-  Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians
-  Meets regularly with Director of Outpatient Behavioral Services and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction
-  Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Services
-  Oversees and directs the scheduling of Outpatient Program Coordinators and Behavioral Technicians as needed and ensure proper billing entry in NPA W
-  Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to Virginia Institute of Autism policy and state and federal regulation
-  Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner
-  Actively communicates the Virginia Institute of Autism’s outreach efforts to community
-  Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner
-  Participates in professional meetings or conferences deemed to be beneficial to BKR's development
-  Adheres to the mission, vision and values of BKR
Education and Experience Required:
- Master’s in behavior analysis, BCBA Supervisory, Psychology, special education, social work, speech language pathology, or related field require

- BCBA certification and/or licensed professional

- Experience in serving individuals with ASDs with a full range of skills and abilities
- Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services Experience with staff training and supervision
- Must be proficient with DTT, ABA Program/Goal Development, ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures, and Staff Training
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
