One-on-One Physical Therapy

Body Kinetics Rehab works with you to:

  • Get you assessed for proper fitting of your prosthesis
  • Improve your ability to go up and down stairs, curbs, ramps – with ease

  • Work with your Doctor to assess any spasticity (stiff or rigid muscles that may interfere with your walking)
  • You can receive info. & resources for modifying your home to make it more handicap accessible



  • Improve your balance (reduce risks of falls)

  • We teach you how to run or walk with the prosthesis
  • Improve your endurance level (reduce secondary complication such as heart attack or another stroke)



  • You'll learn movement Re-education and Functional Integration
  • We educate you on how to check your residual limb and your sound leg for any signs of infection or problems



  • Teach you how to get up from the floor (so if you do fall! – you’ll know what to do)
  • You may benefit from Physical Therapy

    Your entire 1-hour physical therapy treatment sessions are one-on-one with a licensed Physical Therapist.
